Octopus

This artwork on the street basketball court combines the themes of basketball and the sea. The central character of the composition is an octopus whose head is shaped like a basketball. Its movement across the court creates a sense of dynamism and freedom. The concept was born from bringing these two worlds - the sea and the game - together in a single space.

When I first arrived in Kobuleti to see the court, I didn't expect to find such a beautiful place. Located right by the sea, with the incredible colors of the sunset and the warm evening light, the surroundings created a truly special atmosphere. It was this first impression that inspired me to combine the themes of basketball and the sea.

That's how the basketball-playing octopus came to life - with a basketball-shaped head and the same color palette that stayed with me from that very first day. In a way, this artwork is also an attempt to preserve the emotions and impressions I experienced during my first encounter with this place.

I've painted in many interesting locations, but I have to admit that Kobuleti is one of the best places I've ever had the opportunity to paint.
