Grafikart Batumi
The Batumi Grafikart Festival was the first international street art and graphic art festival in Georgia.
It was held annually from 2013 to 2017 in Batumi, on the Black Sea coast, transforming the city through murals and creative installations.
The festival brought together internationally acclaimed artists from around the world like Franck Pellegrino and many Georgian artists, including Dr. Love, Chil One, Lamb, Gagosh, Tina Chertova, and Tamoonz, who continue to play an important role in the country's street art scene today.
Through this international exchange, it marked one of the first major steps in connecting Georgia’s street art scene with the global art community.
Each edition followed a different theme; the 2017 edition was held under the motto "Sea and Love". In addition to artworks created in public spaces, the festival program included exhibitions, live painting sessions, and workshops, encouraging dialogue between artists and the public.

Das Batumi Grafikart Festival war das erste internationale Street Art und Grafik-Festival in Georgien und fand in den Jahren 2013 bis 2017 jährlich an der Schwarzmeerküste in Batumi statt. Ziel der Veranstaltung war es, die Stadt durch Murals und kreative Installationen zu beleben. Junge georgische und internationale Künstler kamen zusammen. Dabei entstanden nicht nur farbenfrohe Murals, sondern auch künstlerischer Austausch, der die Grundlage für die Street Art Entwicklung in ganz Georgien schuf.
Zu den ersten Teilnehmern zählten namhafte Künstler aus Frankreich, Deutschland oder Italien, wie Franck Pellegrino und georgische Künstler, wie Dr. Love, Chil One, Lamb, Gagosh, Tina Chertova und Tamoonz, die noch heute zu den wichtigsten Vertretern der Szene zählen.
