Rosto

Rosto (Rostom Zarandia) is a Georgian artist and activist from Zugdidi. He created colorful murals such as "Elephant in the Air" and paints public trash bins in a child-friendly way as ladybugs, SpongeBob, or Minions.

At the same time, he is known for his political protest graffiti: "Nino(ts)minda" protesting the inadequate handling of child abuse cases in Ninotsminda, "Gazhona Masts" criticizing the lack of resistance from teachers and cultural officials against the government, and “Freedom” protesting the imprisonment of journalist Mzia Amaghlobeli.
